Have you ever listened to the words of a song, and been inspired to write because of them?
Well, that has happened to me. I was listening to Shawn Colvin's, "Sonny Came Home", and the idea for a book just started to dance around my head! I have never been inspired like this!
Maybe my Muse has finally settled down long enough to enjoy the snack I have left for her; yes...my muse is a female. But then again, that is the only sex I have seen....
Anyway, I think she may have gotten bored with all the hype and hooplah going on in Miami, and helping our boys in black and gold to their first Superbowl win, and decided it was time to come back home and inspire me again.
Maybe she is trying to appease me because she has been gone so long; all I know, I have a treasure trove of ideas floating around in my head, screaming to be let out of the box, and put on my computer screen in the form of best-selling novels and short story collections.
Only time will tell....that, and if I can keep my Muse from getting caught up in all of the hype and revelery that comes along with Mardi Gras. Which means I need to get cracking; Fat Tuesday is only a week away.....

The first chapter of my book
I am going to be posting the first chapter of my mystery/romance novel, "Playing With Fire", and I would appreciate all the feedback I can get, as long as it is sincere.
